With no brands of its own gracing retail shelves or foodservice counters, KanPak US might not be a household name among U.S. consumers. But make no mistake: The company is a dairy processing powerhouse, coming in at No. 88 in Dairy Foods' 2021 listing of the top 100 North American dairy processors (Dairy 100).
Austin, Texas-based Mammoth Creameries said it released three new flavors of its keto-friendly, diabetic-conscious frozen custard, including Butter Coffee, Strawberry and Butter Pecan.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has many consumers reaching for small indulgences to brighten their days. That reality has been a boon to the frozen novelties category, which Chicago-based market research firm IRI breaks into three subcategories: frozen novelties, ice cream/ice milk desserts and ice pop novelties.
Elma, N.Y.-based Elmhurst 1925 says it unveiled Elmhurst Creamery dairy-free soft-serve "ice cream" mix. The offering is available in Vanilla and Chocolate varieties.
The offering is initially available in six of Graeter’s traditional flavors.
