Welcome to Dairy Foods’ inaugural Ingredients Issue. Although we cover ingredients extensively throughout the year, our staff felt it was a great time to devote a significant portion of our magazine to ingredients.

Achieving ingredient traceability depends on many factors such as longstanding, sustainable relationships with farmers and suppliers, accurate data collection and record keeping, as well as the type of raw material needed. 

In collaboration with Kansas State University, undergraduate students are encouraged to enroll in their "Introduction to the Dairy Ingredient Industry" online course as a non-degree seeking student to earn three transferrable credit hours for the standard, 16-week course.

According to the company, this will grant manufacturers new opportunities to give their products a better-for-you upgrade.
