A BOTTLE FILLING SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR DAIRY

Filler Specialties offers bottle filling and capping systems for fluid milk, drinking yogurt, and related dairy products. An updated frame design with a polished stainless-steel base, stainless-steel baseplate, and solid stainless steel legs and columns is now available. Units also feature an updated column and carriage design for ease of cleaning and improved cleanliness, the company says. Its electronic fill bowl and capper raising/lowering hardware with optional automated height presets ease set-up and speed bottle size changeovers. Features include a dependable gear drive system, external mount filling valves, optional clean-in-place valves, electronic level control, and updated capping turrets including pick-and-place.

    FILLING AND CAPPING SOLUTIONS

Frain Industries’ comprehensive offerings encompass an array of cutting-edge filling and capping solutions sourced from OEMs including Evergreen, Fogg, Federal, Filler Specialties, Modern, Autoprod, SureKap, and more. The company says it has a vast inventory readily available and ready to ship in as little as 48 hours. This rapid turnaround empowers manufacturers to expedite their products to market, capitalizing on unparalleled efficiency and uncompromised quality, the company says.

    THE BENEFITS OF AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT

HART Design & Manufacturing now offers equipment optimized for customers getting started in the market: the HCC-25 (cream cheese) and HPC-25 (process cheese) models produce filled, sealed packages (pouches in cartons) at rates up to 25 ppm. A modern system with touchscreen controls, the HCC/HPC-25 automatically produces pouches from roll stock and precisely fills, seals, and discharges packages. Designed to CE/USDA standards, the sanitary equipment features easy “plug-and-play” setup with minimal maintenance, the company says.

THE TURNKEY WAY TO FILL DAIRY

Modern Packaging’s SL Inline Cup Filling Systems take care of everything from denesting to sending sealed products down the production line. Get accurate turnkey filling systems for yogurt, sour cream, cheese, and more. The company designs custom packaging systems based on customer products, required production speeds, container sizes, and more, available fully CIP-able. The SL Series filling systems can fill containers between 0.25 ounces to 10 pounds at speeds from 30-600 cpm. The SL Series fillers fulfill all USDA, UL, CE, and 3-A Dairy Sanitary Standards. Food and beverage customers across the globe rely on Modern systems for efficient packaging solutions, the company says.

    ONE LEAN CARTON FILLING MACHINE

The N-200 carton filling machine from Pactiv Evergreen was designed based upon extensive input from school milk filler operators, the company’s service technicians, and its engineering team. The design features Allen Bradley servos, resulting in decreased maintenance, improved performance and reliability, and increased line efficiencies. Also, the company says the new machine features an enclosure that enables full sight of all machine functions for easier access to all components. The N-200 model has replaced the N-8 model, which is being retired after 25 years of production and serving as the standard in the milk industry, the company says.

    EXTENDING SHELF LIFE OF MILK

Packaging of extended shelf-life milk or dairy alternatives must be managed under ultra-

clean conditions to maintain the target 30, 60, or 90 days, the Serac Group notes. For highly sensitive products, companies need to avoid contamination during the filling and capping processes. Thus, the company offers different decontamination types on the containers and caps. Its rinser-filler-capper is designed with close-loop clean-in-place, with a simple product circuit to ensure thorough cleaning of the machine. The company says Independent CIP Skid is also available.
