Being an adult comes with responsibilities that can get in the way of fun, which is why the Blue Bunny ice cream brand said it is taking on America's “most boring, everyday tasks” to give adults more time to have fun.

Now through May 31, ice cream lovers may visit BlueBunny.com/TaskForce for an opportunity to score a $75 TaskRabbit credit to put toward their task of choice. Tasks will be available daily on a limited basis.

The brand, from Le Mars, Iowa-based Wells Enterprises Inc., said it joined forces with fun-loving actress Tamera Mowry to help encourage fans to "Give In To The Bunny" with Blue Bunny.

"How often do you say that you just don't have time to do something fun?" asked Tamera Mowry. "We've all been there, and I love that Blue Bunny is actually helping everyone have a little more fun — and ice cream — in their lives … no more excuses!"

To further transform America's tasks into fun times, Blue Bunny opened Blue Bunny HQ, a pop-up experience in New York City where visitors may:

  • Take a dip in a massive sink filled with sponges and dishes.
  • Turn laundry into a heated competition with the Laundry Launcher 3000.
  • Show off their best dance moves with giant grocery store items on a super-sized conveyor belt.

Pop-up visitors will also enjoy complimentary Blue Bunny Load'd Sundaes, the brand said. Blue Bunny HQ is located in the heart of SoHo at 490 Broadway and is open to the public from May 15 through May 21, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

"At Blue Bunny, we think ice cream should be loaded with toppings and life filled with fun," said Jamee Pearlstein, senior brand manager. "Now we're giving ice cream fans the chance to take a boring task off their to-do list so they can have more time for fun and to do what they actually want to do (eat ice cream)."
