The worst thing that could ever happen to fluid milk is to use aseptic packaging because the dairy industry would lose those great big electronic display cases that now adorn over 10,000 Class A grocery stores in the United States.
If we are to work our way out of this global slump, it will take Olympic-like efforts from more of the same types of visionaries around the world.

Milk is the only beverage that we consider a food, and is so nutritionally important and multi-purpose that it has its own classification on the USDA’S food pyramid. The Dairy Research Institute challenged college students nationwide to develop a dairy-based beverage that provides tangible innovation opportunities for the dairy industry and aligns with beverage growth areas. The top three teams were honored at the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) Annual meeting in Phoenix.
