Dairy business and technology executives from around the world will convene at the second annual DairyTech conference in Minneapolis in 2023 to forge new relationships and explore the technological trends that will shape the future of the food and beverage sector. 

The HFMI program, a result of the 2018 Farm Bill, uses incentives to encourage Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, participants to buy and consume qualifying milk as part of a healthy, balanced diet. 

The average American consumed 667 pounds of dairy on a milkfat basis in 2021 versus 539 pounds in 1975 when data was first established.

This action, if finalized, will revise the requirements for when the term “healthy” can be used as an implied claim in the labeling of human food products to indicate that a food’s level of nutrients may help consumers maintain healthy dietary practices.

Consumers need food and beverages no matter what

Each company applied by providing their occupational injury and illness performance rates as well as a providing a detailed narrative essay on safety efforts at the facility and leading indicators.

Milk also is the top source of calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamin D in kids ages 2 to18."

IDFA applauded USDA for taking the significant boost in funding provided by the bipartisan Keep Kids Fed Act and adding what resources they could to truly bolster the balance sheets of school meals professionals dealing with inflationary pressures.

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives will be joined by Linda Clemons, global sales and nonverbal communications expert; Robin Sharma, leadership expert and best-selling author; David Portalatin, food industry advisor for NPD Group; and Michael Dykes, D.V.M., president and CEO of the IDFA.
