    3-A FEEDER FOR FOOD AND DAIRY APPLICATIONS

    The MechaTron 3-A feeder from Coperion was designed specifically for use in food and dairy industry process applications where equipment must meet 3-A sanitary levels or equivalent. All welds, radii, seals, surface finishes, gaskets and contact and non-contact materials meet 3-A standards. The company says available product features include AC and DC drive packages, an FDA/USDA accepted Coni-Flex flexible conical feed-hopper, helix configurations for feed rates from 0.30 to 330 cubic feet (8.5 to 9,300 liters) per hour and an unmatched ability to disassemble, clean, reconfigure and service from the non-process side of the feeder.

    Hart Design & Manufacturing offers Crumblers & Crumble Lines, which the company says are designed to streamline cheese production by reducing cheese into uniform crumbles with ease and precision. Featuring a complete system with an infeed conveyor, crumbling machine, and anti-caking agent dispenser, this line ensures consistent quality and smooth downstream processing. Typical Crumble Lines component machines are designed to efficiently infeed, crumble and discharge crumbled cheese into a tumble drum, discharging to a downstream process, the company states. Capacities depend upon the operator, product size and environmental conditions.
