CitraPac introduced Nature’s Premium Dessert Pearls, a line of frozen treats in classic dessert flavors.

CitraPac’s, proprietary, cryogenic technology makes it easy for retailers and consumers to store Dessert Pearls at regular freezer temps 0° to -10°F, according to the company.

Nature’s Premium Dessert Pearls are available in Cookies and Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Mint, and Banana Pudding.

“The frozen dessert category has an opportunity to grow with innovative, single-serve portions that are hassle-free. The category is also primed for growth as consumer awareness of food waste issues has climbed with economic pressures where shoppers want the most value out of their purchases,” said Hal Woodyard, senior vice president, Sales and Business Development for CitraPac.

Dessert Pearls are available in 9.2-oz. boxes that contain four single-serve 2.3-oz cups. Dessert Pearls contain no artificial sweeteners and range from 135 to 170 calories per serving for guilt-free enjoyment. Dessert Pearls will start to appear in major grocery chains this September, merchandised in frozen dessert sections of freezer aisles.
