    REDUCING FOOTWEAR CONTAMINATION

The HACCP SmartStep2 Dual Footwear Sanitizing Unit from Best Sanitizers is a foot-operated system that uses compressed air to deliver an atomized spray of Alpet D2 Surface Sanitizer or Alpet D2 Quat-Free Surface Sanitizer to the bottom of footwear soles. Without consuming a single watt of electricity, each application provides ample coverage to footwear soles using only 0.4 ounces of chemical (0.2 ounces per boot), minimizing chemical waste and improving moisture control. With a sturdy, stainless-steel design constructed in the United States, the HACCP SmartStep2 is a highly effective tool for reducing cross-contamination from footwear in wet or dry food processing facilities.

    CIP SANITARY SPRAY BALLS

Dixon Sanitary focuses on providing quality stainless steel equipment that offers clean-in-place (CIP) capabilities and products. The units help clean bacteria that become trapped throughout a production line. Two spray balls are offered, including rotating and stationary. Rotating spray balls are ideal for cleaning all types of tanks and allowing cleaning solutions to lubricate the entire unit with a 360-degree spray pattern. Stationary spray balls are typically found in the food and beverage industry and have various spray pattern options available. The heavy stainless steel construction helps provide a longer-lasting life while diminishing the chances of rust.

    NO-RINSE FOOD CONTACT SANITIZER

Active OX+ from Ecolab is a US OMRI-listed product that is EPA-approved for no-rinse food contact use, allowing plants to simplify and streamline clean-in-place (CIP), while driving both quality and efficiency. A wide dosing range enables plants to confidently achieve high-quality outcomes while realizing savings on chemistry, water and energy. The low-pH formulation offers the US OMRI-listed no-rinse biofilm sanitizing claim, while the mineral solvency helps reduce acid washing to speed CIP and give plants more production time. Active OX+ is fully conductive, enabling plants to digitize and automate CIP sanitization to drive additional efficiency while protecting quality and compliance.

    HYGIENE HAND-CLEANING STATION

The modular Star Clean IV hygiene station with Inlet Complete 23761/23771 from Frontmatec offers forced guided sole cleaning and complete hand hygiene from hand cleaning and drying to disinfection. The prescribed process sequence ensures the maximum basic hygiene before entering flexible production areas. While the helical bristles increase the effectiveness of the mechanical sole cleaning, the specially shaped step guide (Pentagon) and the optimized width of the run ensure that the spray water does not spread in an uncontrolled manner. Dirt particles or dirty water are passed together through the rotation of the brushes directly into the drainage base housing. The company guarantees better hand hygiene.

    IMPROVED CAUSTIC RECOVERY

Koch Separation Solutions (KSS) provides a cost-effective, environmentally friendly way to recover expensive caustic solutions used to clean processing equipment. The Causti-COR System uses chemically stable spiral SelRO nanofiltration membranes to produce high-quality effluent in a variety of industries, including food and dairy applications. The SelRO membranes are designed for robust performance and a long lifecycle, handling extreme acidic conditions and temperatures up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius). KSS’ team of dairy industry experts are ready to help customers around the world drive sustainability through improved caustic recovery.

    BELT CLEANING WITH FOAMIT

Companies can save on chemical costs and labor with no more hand-spraying lines. FOAMit foam bars from Nelson-Jameson provide complete chemical coverage up to four feet on full belt rotation for consistent visual confirmation of cleaning chemistry. The bars are compatible with wall and portable foam units. HEAVY-DUTY FLOOR SQUEEGEES

Twin-mounted, dual durometer PVC blades from Perfex provide double service — one blade wipes the surface while the other acts as a splash guard. The company’s squeegees are lightweight and durable with excellent tear-resistance, and are also non-marring, non-conductive and chemical resistant. The squeegees will not rust or corrode, are unaffected by water, oil, grease, detergents, sanitizer and solvents. They are made in the United States with USDA/FDA-approved materials and are now available in eight vibrant colors. Extend service life with the company’s patented Lite-N-Tite connection system that features a unique socket design that locks the handle in place, guaranteeing no more broken handles.

    REDUCE WASTE, INCREASE YIELDS

The APV Aseptic Rapid Recovery System from SPX Flow saves more high-value products through a quicker scraping process. The technology, featuring steam barriers and pressurization, offers dairy and plant-based processors a sustainable way to increase productivity, reduce waste and provide greater yields while offering the highest level of food safety. Ambient yogurts are heat-treated after fermentation for a longer shelf life. These products demand an aseptic setup for the downstream process. The system can also be used for other high-viscosity products, including desserts, creams and more.
