Bubbies Ice Cream, Phoenix, introduced new oat-“milk” based mochi varieties, including Red, Ripe Strawberry, Rich Chocolate and Alphonso Mango. The new plant-based mochi flavors are Certified Vegan and non-GMO Project Verified and are available at Whole Foods Markets and other select retailers nationwide, Bubbies says.

The plant-based Red, Ripe Strawberry mochi features decadently sweet yet fresh nondairy ice cream surrounded by sweetened mochi. The plant-based Rich Chocolate mochi is a rich and indulgent nondairy chocolate-flavored frozen dessert surrounded by sweetened mochi, Bubbies says, while the plant-based Alphonso Mango mochi tastes like biting into a fresh, perfectly ripe mango.

Bubbies says it also added a Cookies & Cream flavor to its dairy-based mochi lineup. It fuses the beloved taste of chocolate sandwich cookies dunked in milk into a new one-of-a-kind mochi ice cream. All new products have a suggested retail price of $5.99-$6.99 per six-pack box and $1.49-$2.00 per single-serve product.

The company says it also launched a new brand identity to more strongly connect consumers with the brand’s purpose: to take a trip to paradise with each bite of blissfully unexpected mochi ice cream. The bright new look and redesigned brand elements include a new logo, vibrant color palette and illustrations reminiscent of the brand’s Hawaiian heritage. The premium yet approachable new packaging creates a beautiful brand block on-shelf to improve the shelf set’s shop-ability and invite new consumers to the category.
