Mettler Toledo Product Inspection to host grand opening of new state-of-the-art facility
The 265,000-square-foot office and manufacturing space houses three business units.
The Product Inspection Group of Mettler Toledo, Lutz, Fla., said it’s hosting a grand opening event for its customers and trade media on July 12 and 13, 2018.
The 265,000-square-foot office and manufacturing space houses three business units — Safeline metal detection and X-ray inspection, Hi-Speed checkweighing, and CI-Vision machine vision and PCE track & trace/serialization units.
The company said attendees will hear from expert speakers on hot industry topics ranging from “internet of things,” factors affecting packaging trends, overall equipment effectiveness, total cost of ownership, data integrity/audit trail, equipment safety, hygienic design and inspection system selection.
The company said the facility elevates Mettler Toledo’s capabilities, with a much larger production area, first-class training and test labs, and multiple factory-acceptance testing rooms.
