Although the industry faces many challenges, there are exciting opportunities for future growth, according to the six dairy industry executives we queried.

Lactalis Canada, the Toronto, Canadian dairy leader behind iconic brands like Balderson specialty cheeses, Lactantia butter and siggi’s, acquired specialty brand Khaas. With products that currently include Khaas Halal and Khaas Dahi, Lactalis Canada says it is the only national dairy leader in ethnic yogourt.

In addition to the Hello Sunshine partnership, Oui by Yoplait has also recently updated its recipes. The fruit-on-bottom whole milk yogurt flavors the brand is known for now include 20 percent more fruit and the delicious creamy texture fans love.
