Heading into the busy holiday season, Two Good introduced a line of three new Smoothies made with real fruit puree and no artificial sweeteners. The cultured dairy drinks are not only lower in sugar and high in protein, but every bottle sold helps to feed someone in need.

Yogurt, cream cheese are loved to the moon and back as per cultured dairy sales. IRI reports that yogurt, No. 3 on IRI’s Dairy15 Top Categories list, generated $8.4 billion in dollar sales and an 8.6% YoY growth. No. 9 on the list, cream cheese sales totaled $2.3 billion with 8% YoY growth.

Move over butter boards, Tre Stelle, Ontario, Canada, added a cream cheese to its portfolio of quality cheeses. The company’s cream cheese is a cleaner, better-for-you brand that’s inspiring recipes from Canada's top foodies, including a viral “cream cheese board.”

Although the industry faces many challenges, there are exciting opportunities for future growth, according to the six dairy industry executives we queried. 

The Chobani Flip Chief Flavor Taster Contest builds on the brand’s ongoing marketing efforts to reach a younger consumer base. Earlier this year, Chobani launched its first metaverse experience on Roblox, which is best known for its popularity among young users. 

Fresh Cravings, the family-owned, Arizona-based snacking brand, expanded its line of chilled dips, with the addition of three new innovative hummus flavors: Jalapeño Cilantro, Lemon Garlic and Mediterranean

Lactalis Canada, the Toronto, Canadian dairy leader behind iconic brands like Balderson specialty cheeses, Lactantia butter and siggi’s, acquired specialty brand Khaas. With products that currently include Khaas Halal and Khaas Dahi, Lactalis Canada says it is the only national dairy leader in ethnic yogourt. 

Being aware of the sources of the problem in cultured products will help prevent the problem from occurring.
