Cheese produced with milk from pasture-fed or grass-fed cows is noticeably different from cheese made from conventional milk: It has a “grassy” note, a golden color, and a unique fat composition. 

New Holland, Pa.-based Savencia Cheese USA says it added a new snackable product: Alouette Gourmet Bites.

Marin French Cheese Co., Petaluma, Calif., says it introduced Golden Gate — the first in its new line of handcrafted premium cheeses.

“Dedicated to Sustainability, Service and Creating the World’s Finest Handmade Cheese.” As mission statements go, that one is a pretty tall order.

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) said it is seeking nominations for three awards presented annually to leaders in the dairy industry: the IDFA Laureate Award, the 2022 Innovative Dairy Farmer of the Year Award and the IDFA Food Safety Leadership Award.
