Although some may not consider its sales gains gangbusters, the butter and creamer dairy subcategories are led by refrigerated butters and refrigerated coffee creamers, according to Chicago-based market research firm Circana.

The collaboration, combines grass-fed, hormone-free, non-GMO, high butterfat, European-style butter with flavor-packed ingredients, hand-selected by founder Chef Michael Tashman.

Situated between Madison and Milwaukee, Wis., on Interstate 94 in a 7,000-resident town called Lake Mills lies Crystal Farms Dairy Co.’s plant.

When it comes to butter, sales are serving up plenty of aces, with very few faults. 

CME Butter, after rallying for five straight weeks and hitting an all-time high of $3.5025 per pound on Oct. 6, finally began to show weakness last week. It closed at $3.3975 on Thursday, Oct. 19. Reports indicate demand for butter is slowing, and cream multiples are peaking.

Made from the cream of 100% grassfed sheep milk, from the mountainous Arcadia region in southern Greece. It offers 85% butterfat and is soft, smooth, and a mildly sweet flavor, the company states.
