Irvine, Calif.-based Good Culture says it debuted four new products, including its first-ever lactose-free line and a squeezable classic sour cream pouch. 

Back in 2019, the cottage cheese brand Muuna (now defunct) pranked its customers on April Fools’ Day with a fake flavor: Muuna Cannabis cottage cheese.

Crystal Creamery, officially California’s oldest dairy processor, said it is celebrating 120 years of business by always starting with one thing: the freshest dairy sourced from local, family-owned farms.

Marin French Cheese Co., Petaluma, Calif., says it introduced Golden Gate — the first in its new line of handcrafted premium cheeses.

USDA Deputy Secretary Jewel Bronaugh announced on Aug. 25 the establishment of a $400 million Dairy Donation Program (DDP) on a call with Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow. 

“Dedicated to Sustainability, Service and Creating the World’s Finest Handmade Cheese.” As mission statements go, that one is a pretty tall order.

Pittsburg, Calif.-based Ramar Foods says it expanded its premium ice cream brand, Magnolia, by launching eight flavors of boba ice cream. 

Westby, Wis.-based Westby Cooperative Creamery says it introduced an all-natural sour cream squeezable pouch to its retail line of dairy products. 

This year’s contest, sponsored and conducted by the Middleton, Wis.-based Wisconsin Dairy Products Association (WDPA), received a near-record number of entries (1,400) for cheese, butter, fluid milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, ice cream, sour cream, sherbet, cultured milk, sour cream dips, whipping cream, whey and other creative/innovative products from dairy processors throughout North America, WDPA said.
