Organic Valley extends product line

Organic Valley has expanded its oat portfolio with the launch of Original and Creamy flavors on store shelves nationwide this fall.
The Original Oat Beverage is crafted with three ingredients: organic oats, water, and a touch of salt.
"From our research, we know that many of our consumers are reaching for both dairy and plant-based beverages and looking for options that are free from gums and seed oils," said Laurie Drake, vice president of marketing, Organic Valley. "Our new oat beverage is crafted for those who care about knowing where the ingredients in their food come from and want something that tastes great in every sip."
Organic Valley Oat Beverages are intended for frothing in coffee, adding to cereal and oatmeal, using in baked goods, blending into smoothies and shakes, or drinking on their own. Made without gums, seed oils, or artificial colors, these nut-free, dairy-free, and lactose-free beverages offer a delicious, satisfying experience for a variety of dietary needs and lifestyles.
Organic Valley Oat Beverages are crafted without unnecessary additives. The organic oats used to make Organic Valley Oat Beverages are ethically sourced from the cooperative's family farms in the heartland of the USA—a region with ideal, cool, dry conditions in which oats thrive. These organic oats are grown without the use of toxic pesticides or herbicides in accordance with the standards of the USDA National Organic Program.
"With every new product, we stay true to our purpose: to operate a cooperative that produces delicious, organic products that promote farm diversity and economic stability," Drake said. "Our oat line is rooted in strong relationships with our farmers who tend and grow organic produce, oats, dairy, and eggs. Consumers can feel good knowing that we stay connected to our products from crop to carton."
Organic Valley Oat Beverages will be available at Whole Foods grocery stores nationwide starting in September 2025 and will roll out to additional stores in the following months. The suggested retail price is $5.99 for a 42-ounce carton.
