Andrew & Everett, a clean-label, source-verified cheese brand of Rochelle, Park, N.J.-based PANOS Brands, introduced its newest product: Andrew & Everett rustic thick-cut shredded cheese. This line is available in white sharp cheddar, mozzarella and Fiesta Blend varieties, the company says.
Andrew & Everett says it revolutionized the clean cheese industry over 20 years ago by creating the first rBGH-BST hormone-free cheese in the United States. Andrew & Everett specializes in “farm-to-table” cheeses that are made from the highest-quality milk from grass-fed cows raised on third- and fourth-generation family-owned farms in America’s heartland. Andrew & Everett cheeses are created using a process where master artisan cheesemakers — who are local to the area the cows were raised — turn milk into cheese in 48 hours. This special process creates fresher, creamier and better-tasting cheese.
The Andrew & Everett rustic thick-cut shredded cheese is being introduced at a time when more meals are being prepared at home than ever before. The company says the cheese is available in 8-ounce resealable bags at a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.99.
Andrew & Everett says the sharp white cheddar variety is aged for over 90 days. It is great for melting and maintains its flavor and cheesy texture. The mozzarella offering is a fresh off-the-block rustic thick-cut variation of its classic mozzarella shredded cheese. Fiesta Blend is a combination of Monterey Jack, cheddar, queso quesadilla and asadero cheese — creating the perfect balance of sharp and creamy flavor.
