Philadelphia-based La Colombe Coffee Roasters said its La Colombe draft chocolate milk is the first product to graduate from Fresh Ideas — a line of limited-batch beverages that come from the company’s research and development innovation hub. The product is a modern take on a classic flavor. It is crafted with the same quality cocoa served in La Colombe’s cafes and is made with lactose-free milk and natural cocoa. The beverage’s foamy texture comes from La Colombe’s patented nitrous oxide process. The product is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D, is low in sugar and is caffeine-free. It is available at select retailers and at La Colombe’s 30 cafes nationwide. It has a suggested retail price is $2.99.
