Sacramento, Calif.-based Blue Diamond Growers said it expanded into the nondairy yogurt-alternative category with Almond Breeze yogurt alternative. Each 5.3-ounce single-serve container includes a serving of vanilla-flavored yogurt alternative and a sidecar of toppings. The topping varieties include toasted almonds, honey roasted almonds and granola, chocolate almonds and chocolate chips, coconut almonds and chocolate chips, blueberry almonds and oat clusters, and sea salt caramel and pretzel. The yogurt alternative is also available without toppings in a 24-ounce size that comes in two flavors: Original and Vanilla. Each variety is free from allergens such as lactose and soy.
