Straus Family Creamery, Petaluma, Calif., introduced three new ice cream pint flavors: Chai Latte, Vanilla Fudge Swirl and Maple Cream. According to the company, the new flavors expand its organic premium ice cream varieties to 13 pint and six quart offerings, all of which are made from Straus’ premium organic milk and cream from cows living on family farm organic pastures.

Straus said it developed the flavors, which contain no artificial ingredients or coloring agents, to showcase the distinctive sweet taste and creamy texture of its fresh organic milk and cream. The Chai Latte flavor is a blend of Indian spices found in the traditional seasoned beverage, evoking a classic global flavor. The Vanilla Fudge Swirl flavor is thick and rich chocolate fudge swirls churned into vanilla ice cream. Maple Cream features golden maple syrup that complements the sweet cream ice cream.

Straus said it also is recognizing its 25th anniversary with redesigned packaging that more clearly communicates its mission and brand benefits and offers greater consistency across categories. The new packaging includes updated messaging on its reusable glass bottles that have contained its organic cream-top milk since the company’s launch in 1994.
