Nightfood ice cream a 2019 Product of the Year winner
It was voted the best new ice cream in a Kantar survey of more than 40,000 consumers.
Nightfood Inc., Tarrytown, N.Y., said its Nightfood ice cream was named the best new ice cream in 2019 in Kantar’s 2019 Product of the Year awards. The winners were determined in a national survey of 40,000 consumers.
By giving consumers a “sleep-friendly” option, Nightfood said it is launching a movement that many experts have predicted will become an important new category in the snack space.
“We’re both honored and emboldened to have won 2019 Product of the Year,” remarked Sean Folkson, Nightfood’s CEO. “There are over 100,000,000 American consumers eating ice cream at night. Nightfood is the only product specifically formulated as a better choice before bed.”
The awards are given in 36 product categories; Nightfood ice cream is the only dairy product included in this year’s list of winners. The winners of the 2019 Product of the Year Awards were announced at the annual Product of the Year Awards Show at the Edison Ballroom in New York City on Feb. 7, Kantar noted, and can be found online at womansday.com.
