Caloris Engineering LLC, Easton, Md., said it will co-host a seminar on spray dryer optimization at the Ramada Fresno North in Fresno, Calif., on Nov. 13. The seminar will be held in conjunction with NIZO, a food and dairy research institute based in the Netherlands.

The course is targeted to experienced professionals and industry decision-makers for spray drying operations, Caloris Engineering noted.

In addition to a review of spray drying basics, the course will cover psychrometrics as it relates to spray dryer optimization, spray dryer safety and a review of some optimization case studies, as well as an interactive computer modeling session.
