FrieslandCampina to debut Dutch-style cheeses under the Frico brand
The new line includes slices, shaved goat cheese and Gouda snack bars.
FrieslandCampina, Amersfoort, Netherlands, is debuting Dutch-style cheese products under the Frico brand at the end of 2018. These include a Gouda snack in convenient 20-gram portions packed eight to a 5.65-ounce bag; shaved goat cheese in a 4.2-ounce cup; a line of cheese slices in easy-peel-and-reseal 5.29-ounce packaging placed in display-ready cases; a line of cheese loaves featuring Gouda, Maasdam and Emmental; and goat cheese for behind-the-counter slicing. One slice of Gouda contains 90 calories, 7 grams of fat and 6 grams of protein. The Gouda snack retails for $3.99-$4.99 per bag; the shaved goat cheese retails for $5.99-$6.99 per cup; and the cheese slices retail for $3.99-$4.99 per package. The cheeses will be sold in supermarkets and specialty stores throughout the country.
