Blue Bell Ice Cream, Brenham, Texas, launched a Mardi Gras-inspired ice cream called Mardi Gras King Cake. The flavor features cinnamon cake-flavored ice cream, pastry pieces and a colorful cream cheese swirl with candy sprinkles. 

The suggested retail price is $7.69 per ½ gallon. It’s available for a limited time and likely not in stores past Feb. 13, Fat Tuesday, said the company.  A ½-cup serving contains 180 calories, 9 grams of fat, 17 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein.

The ice cream sold in Louisiana, parts of Alabama (Mobile area), Mississippi (Jackson area) and Texas.
