Kalypso Foods LLC , Huntington, N.Y., makes an authentic Greek-style yogurt that’s packaged in individual, reusable terra-cotta pots to preserve nutrients and reduce waste, according to the company. The pots also come with a resealable lid.

The yogurt is made with no artificial sugars, sweeteners or preservatives. It’s gluten-free and made with no gelatins, according to the company.

The yogurt comes in eight nonfat varieties: plain, strawberry, honey, ginger peach, black cherry, vanilla, fig and toasted coconut; and rotating seasonal flavors, like these available through the fall: raspberry, lemon anise and apple cinnamon; plus a plain whole milk variety.

For the strawberry flavor, a serving size (6-ounces) contains 140 calories, 13 grams of sugar and 12 grams of protein. The Greek yogurt is sold for suggested retail price of $2.99 per 6-ounce cup and is available at independent stores in the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It’s also sold at Kings, Balducci’s, Fairway Markets, Citarella, Wild by Nature, Uncle Giuseppi’s, Stauffers of Kissel and a few more stores in the Southeastern and Midwest regions.
