Australian-style yogurt Yulu is the newest addition from WhiteWave Foods
WhiteWave Foods, Broomfield, Colo., introduced Yulu, a new Australian-style yogurt brand inspired by an authentic Australian recipe. The yogurt is created through a process that the company calls “double smoothed” to create an extra creamy texture.
Positioned as an alternative to Greek yogurt, the full-fat yogurt is made with real fruit and is double-blended to create a creamy, smooth taste. Each 5.3-ounce cup contains nine grams of protein, has 170 to 180 calories, 7 grams of fat and 14 to 17 grams of sugar. The suggested retail price is $1.69.
It’s available in five varieties:
- Blueberry
- Honey
- Raspberry
- Strawberry
- Vanilla Bean
The new yogurt product is available in grocery stores, supercenters and natural food stores nationwide.
