USDA is accepting nominations for board representation in four geographic regions: New England, the Southeast, the Midwest and Texas.

The USDA has issued a call for nominations to serve on the board of the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board (also known as MilkPEP). Nominees for the regional positions must be active owners or employees of a fluid milk processor.
During the fall board meetings held in Chicago, the International Dairy Foods Association and its three constituent organizations elected new officers and 23 new board members.
South Dakota State University students garnered all top honors at the 94th Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest held in conjunction with the International Dairy Show in Chicago.

CROPP Cooperative, the parent company of the Organic Valley brand of dairy foods and beverages, has formed a partnership with and Europe's leading organic dairy cooperative.
It all depends on the product, but expect stronger prices next year. NDM prices might rise to $1.25/pound in late 2016. Favorable skim pricing won’t last all year, while butter prices will be volatile in the first quarter 2016. As for cheese, inventories and imports hold down prices.
YUP! is the chocolate milk brand of Dairy Food's 2015 Processor of the Year. The milk launches in select markets in the Southeast and Northeast and will roll out nationally in 2016.
