FACA consists of more than 80 organizations representing farmers, ranchers, forest owners, agribusinesses, manufacturers, the food and innovation sector, state governments, sportsmen and sportswomen, and environmental advocates.
The dairy industry is on the cusp of a new era of packaging innovation, driven largely by sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets that require investment in new packaging solutions to limit food waste, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce landfilling.
Program areas would include food safety, chemical safety and innovative food products, including those from new agricultural technologies, that will bolster the resilience of the U.S. food supply in the face of climate change and globalization.
