ICEE launches Banana Blast flavor
ICEE launched a limited-edition Banana Blast ICEE flavor, created to celebrate the global theatrical release of Illumination’s Minions & Monsters, the new chapter in the biggest animated franchise in history, arriving in theaters July 1.
Perfectly timed for the peak of summer, the Banana Blast flavor offers a unique, ice-cold twist on the Minions’ all-time favorite treat. The limited-time offering combines ICEE's signature frozen texture with a sweet banana flavor, delivering the ultimate refreshment for fans, friends and families escaping the summer heat at the movies.
“Summer movie season and ICEE go hand in hand, and we couldn't be more excited to bring fans a flavor inspired by one of the most beloved franchises in theaters,” said Kimmra Hingher, vice president of Marketing at ICEE. “Banana Blast is a fun nod to the Minions' favorite treat, and we can't wait for moviegoers to enjoy it while experiencing the joy, laughter and mayhem of Illumination’s Minions & Monsters on the big screen.”
The limited-edition Banana Blast ICEE is now available at Regal Cinemas, Cinemark, Marcus Theatres, and other select entertainment destinations nationwide.
Sister brand Dippin’ Dots will also offer its fan-favorite Banana Split flavor at select cinema locations this summer. Both ICEE and Dippin’ Dots are owned by parent company J&J Snack Foods.
