The company introduced Halo Top’s Silent (à la) Mode Spoon, a limited-edition, tricked-out utensil designed to turn your phone on “Do Not Disturb” (DND) to enjoy sweet summer freedom notification-free.
Blending technology with indulgence, the Silent (à la) Mode Spoon is a typical food-safe spoon that doubles as a tool that silences your phone and delivers the perfect bite-sized scoop for enjoying Halo Top ice cream, uninterrupted. The enhanced utensil features a discreet NFC (Near Field Communication) chip that simply and safely connects to your device. The chip is compatible with most smartphones, including iPhone and Android devices.
Using the Silent (à la) Mode Spoon just requires a one-time setup with a few quick steps to achieve notification-free delight. Following the short guide provided with each spoon, add the NFC chip, which is permanently embedded in an attachment on the top of the spoon, to your phone's shortcuts list. Then, tap the spoon to your smartphone, connect, and toggle on DND mode in device settings. Feel free to dig into your Halo Top pint and enjoy a seamless “phones down, spoons up” experience.
