    Frönen introduces non-dairy frozen desserts

    The National Honey Board Honey Saves Hives brand partner Frönen introduced a new line of non-dairy frozen dessert novelties.

    Introduced were:

    • Pineapple Crème — made with just three ingredients: organic coconut cream, pineapple and honey
    • Tropical — a bright blend of honey, passionfruit, guava and mango for a creamy, tangy bite
    • Pistachio Chocolate — a honey-sweetened pistachio dessert finished with a chocolate coating, inspired by globally trending Dubai chocolate

    In addition to the novelty bars, two new honey-sweetened frozen dessert pints will be on shelves:

    • Pineapple — a bright pineapple frozen dessert, made with just three-ingredients and exclusive to Sprouts
      Cherry Chocolate — a decadent cherry frozen dessert base with chocolate chips

    “Honey has always been core to how we think about flavor, simplicity and ingredient integrity at Frönen,” Brian McDermott, president of Frönen, said. “Partnering with Honey Saves Hives allows us to take that commitment a step further, supporting the beekeepers and pollinators behind the ingredient we love so much. As we head into the year ahead with new product launches and expanded retail distribution, we’re excited to continue growing with honey at the center and making choices that are better for our products, our customers and the future of the food system.”

    These offerings and more will be available nationwide at new and existing retailers, including Sprouts, Whole Foods Market, Natural Grocers, PCC Markets and Gelson’s.
