Chobani executive named NFRA chairman

The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) elected its Association Officers for 2025–2026 at its Annual Board of Directors Meeting on Oct. 18, 2025, and elected Members of the Board of Directors at the Annual Membership Meeting held during the NFRA Convention.
Bill Kynast, senior vice president of sales, Chobani, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Board. Kynast has served on NFRA’s Board of Directors since 2019 and previously held the position of Chair-Elect from 2024–2025. He has been an active leader in advancing the association’s mission and engagement with the industry and is a member of the Honorable Order of Golden Penguins.
“It’s an incredible honor to serve as Chair of the NFRA Board,” said Kynast. “Our industry continues to evolve quickly, and NFRA plays a unique role in uniting brands, retailers, and partners to drive growth, innovation, and consumer connection. I’m excited to work alongside this talented board and membership to champion the frozen and refrigerated categories and build on the strong foundation already in place.”
