Bill Kynast, senior vice president of sales, Chobani, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Board. Kynast has served on NFRA’s Board of Directors since 2019 and previously held the position of Chair-Elect from 2024–2025. He has been an active leader in advancing the association’s mission and engagement with the industry and is a member of the Honorable Order of Golden Penguins.

FRA is highlighting how today’s refrigerated aisle is meeting evolving needs with health-forward, grab-and-go options and bold new flavors. Lifestyle expert and TV personality Evette Rios is helping bring the aisle to life, sharing simple recipes and ideas to make mealtime easier all summer long.

Conducted in partnership with Morning Consult, the study found that GLP-1 users are increasingly prioritizing high-protein, low-carb, and portion-controlled frozen foods, creating new opportunities for retailers and manufacturers to meet evolving consumer needs.

NFRA survey results show that eggs (74%), yogurt (67%) and cheese (63%) are top choices for health-conscious consumers due to their macronutrient and protein content.

88% of U.S. consumers say they are likely to find options that fit their lifestyle in the dairy aisle, according to an Atomik study for the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Assocation (NFRA).
