Alec's Ice Cream joined the ReGen Brands coalition, dedicated to nourishing brands that regenerate life.

ReGen recently announced the launch of an unprecedented education, community, and financing ecosystem for consumer packaged goods brands supporting regenerative agriculture. This ecosystem aims to catalyze a food system transformation to restore the health of our soils, our food, our people, and our planet.

“A regenerative food system needs regenerative brands - brands building holistic solutions with nutrition, climate, biodiversity, and social equity in mind,” said Anthony Corsaro, co-founder of ReGen Brands. “We’ve spent the last three years deeply understanding the significant unmet needs of this community, and we’re launching this new ecosystem to help solve them. We exist to inform, connect, and fund the regenerative revolution of CPG.”

ReGen Brands’ multifaceted approach to supporting brands that support regenerative agriculture holds the promise of advancing the entire regenerative movement. This new ecosystem will feature three entities: ReGen Brands Institute, ReGen Brands Coalition, and ReGen Brands Capital.

"Alec's Ice Cream is excited to join ReGen Brands," Alec Jaffe, CEO of Alec's Ice Cream, told Dairy Foods. "We joined the coalition because we felt it was important to work with like-minded brands who can help each other grow our businesses and the regenerative movement. Cows and other livestock play an important role in regenerative systems, and joining the coalition helps us work with other brands to spread that message along with all the amazing work being done throughout this movement."

“Painterland Sisters is proud to be one of over 30 leading brands in the Regen Coalition. As a registered benefit start up, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between consumers and farmers, while sustaining our own family’s dairy farm and others like it, ensuring access to nutrient dense foods for all. We strive to be a voice for change and together with other mission-oriented companies a part of the coalition we believe in a regenerative future by empowering and activating our communities. Together, we see it as a necessity to share our voice and work collaboratively to make a difference and bring awareness to these brands on shelves and in people’s homes," added Hayley Painter, co-founder of Painterland Sisters.
