A Nov. 11 letter signed by the Washington, D.C.-based International Dairy Foods Association and 14 other food and related industry groups encourages the Trump administration to put in place a federally orchestrated vaccine distribution program once a vaccine for COVID-19 is developed and approved. It also urges prioritization of vaccination among population groups, including critical infrastructure employees, which include the food, agriculture, manufacturing and retail industries.
