Arctic Zero, San Diego, said it introduced two new nondairy frozen dessert flavors: Classic Vanilla and Pistachio. The new flavors join the company’s other 160-calorie fava-bean-base flavors, which include Salted Caramel, Cookie Shake, Cake Batter, Hint of Mint and Purely Chocolate.

"There has been a lot of disruption in the better-for-you category, leaving consumers overwhelmed,” said Jason Paine, CEO of Arctic Zero. “The launch of these two new flavors shows our fans that we are listening and will continue to focus on being the lowest calorie plant-based frozen dessert available."

Arctic Zero said its new additions are Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Plant Based, naturally flavored, gluten-free and low-glycemic. Classic Vanilla is a smooth and rich vanilla flavor with only 40 calories per serving. Pistachio is a blend of pistachio and amaretto flavors — also with only 40 calories per serving. Both flavors can be found at select grocers and natural food stores nationwide, as well as via online retailers such as AmazonFresh and IceCreamSource.com.
