RK Environmental Services launches virucidal program service to combat coronavirus
The virucidal program service is meant to complement existing food safety programs.
RK Environmental Services (RKE), Westwood, N.J., said it launched a virucidal program service (VPS) — a highly effective solution that kills harmful germs, pathogens, bacteria, fungi, viruses, small flies and the coronavirus — to complement its clients’ crisis management response to the coronavirus. According to the company, the VPS can be applied to any areas that should be disinfected and sanitized.
RKE said it offers this service to complement the food safety programs that food facilities already have in place to strengthen their COVID-19 crisis management process.
“The response to our disinfectant, sanitization and virucidal program has been well received by our clients as an effective and complementary mitigation strategy against COVID-19,” said Hank Hirsch, president, RK Environmental Services. “It’s a great feeling to be able to support our clients and help foster a safe work environment. It’s critically important, now more than ever, to help our clients ensure employee health and well-being.”
