Old El Paso, a division of General Mills, Minneapolis, said it introduced Old El Paso shredded cheese. The offering is part of a partnership it entered with Crystal Farms, a brand of St. Louis-based Post Holdings. The new product line combines Old El Paso’s strong presence in the Mexican food category with the growing popularity of shredded cheese. The cheese comes in six varieties: Finely Shredded Cheddar, Mexican 4-Cheese, Mexican Taco Blend, Monterey Jack, 3-Pepper Blend and Quesadilla.
