Perry’s Ice Cream Co. Inc., Akron, N.Y., said it combined its probiotic-packed frozen yogurt with refreshing natural fruit and vegetable juices for a healthier take on its frozen treats. The new line of frozen yogurt swirled with sorbet is available in retail and online now.

According to Perry’s, the frozen yogurt line comes in four varieties and two sizes. The 1.5 quart-sized flavors are Strawberry Tang Twist and Berry Grape Twist.  The line also is available in six-packs of single-serve Yo Buddie Bars in Raspberry Watermelon and Berry Grape flavors.

All four flavors are made with real fruit and vegetable juices and clean ingredients, which means no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors/flavors. Perry’s said the vegetable juices, which complement the fruit juices, contain sweet potato, purple carrot and carrot. The live and active cultures in the yogurt have natural digestive health benefits, plus all are gluten-free. In addition, Yo Buddie Bars only have 80 calories per serving.

Perry’s said its frozen yogurt swirled with sorbet is available at a number of local retailers across New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The line has a suggested retail price of $6.99 for the 1.5-quart size and $4.29 for six-packs of Yo Buddie Bars.
