DairyPure, a brand of Dallas-based Dean Foods Co., said it added new flavors to its line of cottage cheese DairyPure Mix-ins. The offerings include Blackberries & Granola, as well as two savory flavors: Creamy Jalapeño & Tortilla Strips and Sundried Tomato & Croutons.

DairyPure Mix-ins are low-fat, high-protein cottage cheese products packaged in single-serve containers, making them convenient for on-the-go snacking, DairyPure said. DairyPure Mix-ins initially launched in 2018 with four fruit flavors: Blueberry, Peach & Pecan, Pineapple and Strawberry & Almond.

DairyPure said it is supporting the launch with an integrated marketing campaign, which includes engaging digital ads, in-store shopper promotions, social media content and earned media and influencer programs. The campaign's overall creative theme showcases the simplicity of “mixing in the good stuff” for a protein-packed nutritious treat.

"At Dean Foods, we saw an opportunity to shift [away from] the perception of cottage cheese as old-fashioned and provide exciting options in a category that has long suffered from a lack of innovation," said Joe Reske, senior director, marketing, DairyPure. "Our campaign highlights the nutritional benefits of eating cottage cheese, as well as the convenience and innovative flavors Mix-ins offers, all aimed at helping consumers maintain an active lifestyle while mixing up their snacking routines."

DairyPure Mix-ins have no artificial flavors, sweeteners or artificial growth hormones, DairyPure said. The line is available nationwide and has a suggested retail price of $1.59-$1.99.
