Prairie Farms adds chocolate milk to its lactose-free lineup
The premium offering comes in a half-gallon carton.
Prairie Farms Dairy, Edwardsville, Ill., said it expanded its lactose-free lineup with the addition of Prairie Farms premium lactose-free chocolate milk. The new offering joins several lines of Prairie Farms lactose-free white milk and North Star lactose-free ice cream bars. A 1-cup serving has 210 calories, 8 grams of fat, 24 grams of sugar (13 grams added) and 8 grams of protein. The chocolate milk has a suggested retail price of $3.75 and can be found in the dairy case of selected grocery, convenience and dollar stores.
