In celebration of Independence Day, the Dairy Queen system introduced two new Americana-inspired Blizzard treats — the Star Spangled Blizzard and the OREO Firework Blizzard.

The Star Spangled Blizzard treat is red, white and blue with festive rock candy hand-blended with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, is topped with more vanilla soft-serve with a curl and blue rock candy, and is finished with a DQ Stars & Stripes StarKiss frozen treat. The Star Spangled Blizzard Treat is only available in the mini size. The company is offering the exclusive blizzard at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last. The suggested retail price is $3.99.

The company is also offering the OREO Firework Blizzard treat — the July Blizzard treat of the Month for all of July. The OREO Firework Blizzard features red and blue popping candy mixed with OREO cookie pieces and vanilla soft-serve. The suggested retail price is as follows, based on size: mini: $2.88, small: $3.49, medium: $4.02 and large: $4.57.
