Bolthouse Farms, Bakersfield, Calif., introduced the Bolthouse Farms “B” line of products, a beverage platform of lower-sugar premium refrigerated beverages. The line includes protein beverages made with whey protein concentrate and non-dairy beverage smoothies. The protein beverages come in coffee, chocolate, vanilla and vanilla Chai flavors. The coffee flavor has 180 calories, 5 grams of fat, 16 grams of sugar and 16 grams of protein per 15.2-ounce bottle. The beverages can be found nationwide in the refrigerated produce section of retailers such as Kroger and Giant Eagle, and they retail for $2.99 per bottle.
