The international Industria Macchine Automatiche (IMA) in Bologna, Italy, acquired the operating business of Oystar Group. In the United States, Oystar Group’s subsidiaries – including Benhil, Erca, Gasti, Hamba and Hassia – are now under the umbrella of IMA Dairy & Food USA, which continue to be headquartered in Edison, N.J.

Tate & Lyle announced its exit from the substantial part of its European Bulk Ingredients business, and the re-structuring of its Splenda Sucralose business to further focus on specialty food ingredients.
