The Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA), Novi, Mich., hired Colt Johnson as plant manager to head up the cooperative’s largest processing facility in Ovid, Mich.

Colt has over 30 years of experience in a variety of processing facilities, ranging from personal care items to high protein dairy beverages, including positions at Nestlé. Most recently, Colt served as plant packaging and manufacturing manager at fairlife LLC in Coopersville, Mich.

MMPA is a member owned and controlled milk-marketing cooperative serving approximately 2,000 dairy farmers in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana.

The International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA), Madison, Wis., has named Michael J. Eardley as its new president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Carol Christison who passed away in March, 2014, after leading the association for 31 years.

Eardley worked the past 13 years in various roles for HEB Grocery Company in San Antonio, Texas.
