DSM’s Beta Carotene 10% EM Red is a free-flowing liquid emulsion that provides color consistency throughout a range of red to pink shades. A stable form of vitamin A, beta carotene ensures ease-in-use and delivers specified color intensity. At low dosage rates, the carotene imparts pastel red colors. The dose can be increased to create a more vibrant pink hue. It’s ideal for dairy applications including strawberry-flavored milk, yogurt-based products and ice cream. It has robust color stability under the heat processing conditions typical in dairies.
