the Baraboo, Wis.-based company’s ingredient division, will retire
from the cooperative December 31, 2006. On September 1, Douglas Wilke, vice president of
Foremost’s cheese division, will become vice president of
manufactured products.
Guida’s Milk & Ice Cream — Michael Guida has been elected
president, Michael Young has been elected executive vice president, James Guida has been elected senior
vice president, Alexander Guida has been elected chairman and Bernard
Guida has been elected chairman emeritus of the New Britain, Conn.-based
company.
Land O’Lakes Inc. — Jeff Duffin, the Minneapolis-based
company’s director of foodservice marketing, has been named a
“40 Under Forty” winner by the
Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

Mastertaste Inc. — Markus Eckert has joined the
Teterboro, N.J.-based company’s Flavors Division as technical vice
president, Juan Varela has joined as vice president of global key accounts for the

OBITUARIES
American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) — Bernard Horton, 68, a longtime member of the Elmhurst, Ill.-based association,
died May 8. Horton, head of Cambridge, Mass.-based Horton International,
was a pioneer in whey processing and UF milk who won the ADPI’s 2004
Award of Merit.
