    PROCESSORS
    Foremost Farms USA — James Geyer, vice president of the Baraboo, Wis.-based company’s ingredient division, will retire from the cooperative December 31, 2006. On September 1, Douglas Wilke, vice president of Foremost’s cheese division, will become vice president of manufactured products.
    Guida’s Milk & Ice Cream — Michael Guida has been elected president, Michael Young has been elected executive vice president, James Guida has been elected senior vice president, Alexander Guida has been elected chairman and Bernard Guida has been elected chairman emeritus of the New Britain, Conn.-based company.
    Land O’Lakes Inc. — Jeff Duffin, the Minneapolis-based company’s director of foodservice marketing, has been named a “40 Under Forty” winner by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

    Aquionics Inc. — Jon McClean has been promoted to divisional managing director (UV Companies) of the Erlanger, Ky.-based company.
    Chromatic Technologies Inc. — Russ LaCoste has been appointed vice president of marketing and sales for the Colorado Springs, Colo.-based company.
    Fristam Pumps USA — Duane Ehlke has been promoted to director of engineering and Daniel Osiedacz has been promoted to product manager for the Middleton, Wis.-based company.
    ITW Inks — Jim Cain has been named corporate account executive and inks and fluid specialist for the St. Charles Mo.-based company.
    Krones Inc. — Timothy Raymond has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing for North America for the Franklin, Wis.-based company.
    Solvay America Inc. — Virginia Hubert has been named vice president of health, safety and environmental affairs for the Houston-based company.
    WOW Logistics — Matt Oswald has been named executive vice president of the Appleton, Wis.-based company.
    R&D SUPPLIERS
    Frutarom USA Inc. — Michael Britten-Kelly has been named vice president of research and development, and Tim Gulstrom has been promoted to vice president of corporate sales and business manager of aroma chemicals and citrus for the North Bergen, N.J.-based company.
    Mastertaste Inc. — Markus Eckert has joined the Teterboro, N.J.-based company’s Flavors Division as technical vice president, Juan Varela has joined as vice president of global key accounts for the company’s Natural Products and Fragrance Divisions, and Ton Mesters has been appointed vice president of business development of citrus products for Mastertaste’s Natural Products Division.
    OBITUARIES
    American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) — Bernard Horton, 68, a longtime member of the Elmhurst, Ill.-based association, died May 8. Horton, head of Cambridge, Mass.-based Horton International, was a pioneer in whey processing and UF milk who won the ADPI’s 2004 Award of Merit.
