    PROCESSORS
    Dairy Farmers of America Inc. (DFA) — Walter Bradley, New Mexico’s lieutenant governor from 1995 to 2002, is director of government and industry relations for the Kansas City, Mo.-based cooperative’s southwest region (New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas).
    Gifford’s Ice Cream — Michael Brandt has joined as director of sales and marketing for the Skowhegan, Maine-based company.
    Sargento Foods Inc. — Karri Neils has been promoted to senior vice president of human resources for the Plymouth, Wis.-based cheese company.
    PROCESSOR SUPPLIERS
    FKI Logistex — Jill Raab has been promoted to marketing communications coordinator for the Danville, Ky.-based company.
    Fortitech Inc. — Kim Evans has been appointed manager of human resources for the Schenectady, N.Y.-based company’s global offices.
    The Glennon Group — Raymond Gobis has been appointed ink jet systems engineer of the Pewaukee, Wis.-based company in a move to expand the company’s presence in the Chicago area.
    Publicis Dialog — Colleen Fahey has been appointed executive vice president and director of strategic planning for the Seattle-based company. Publicis Dialog Seattle is part of Publicis USA and Publicis Groupe S.A.
    Vilter Manufacturing Corp. — Gary Chafee has joined as Southeastern district manager, Tom Melotik has rejoined as inside sales engineer supporting field sales, Sam Gladis has relocated to the company’s St. Louis office, Jeff Johnson has added the New England states to his Mid-Atlantic territory and Phill Beste has filled the position of parts manager for the Cudahy, Wis.-based company.

    TIC Gums — Greg Andon has been promoted to business development manager for the Belcamp, Md.-based company.
    ASSOCIATIONS
    Food Marketing Institute (FMI) — Anne-Marie Roerink has joined the Washington, D.C.-based organization as director of research.
    Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) — U.S. Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman has appointed or re-appointed 10 members of the MilkPEP board. Re-appointed to serve a second term are Rachel Kyllo, vice president of marketing for Marigold Foods; John Robinson, Dean Foods chief operating officer of private label and Morningstar operations; and J.T. Wilcox, director of operations for Wilcox Dairy Farm. Newly appointed to the board are Mike Touhey, regional vice president of marketing for Dean Foods; Bruce Matson, Marva Maid Dairy’s director of fluid operations; Bob McCullough, manufacturing vice president for H.E. Butt Grocery Co.; Jerry Tidwell, senior vice president for Safeway; and Santee Dairies president Paul Bikowitz. At-large new members are Patricia Romero, California marketing manager for Daimler Chrysler; and Randy Mooney, representing processor interests for Dairy Farmers of America. Wilcox is the new MilkPEP chairman; vice chairman is Bill McCabe, vice president of marketing for Smith Dairy Products; secretary is Gary Aggus, president and general manager for Hiland Dairy; and treasurer is Jay Jaskiewicz, director of dairy manufacturing for Publix.
