Blue Bell Creamery, Brenham, Texas has expanded its market once again to include the home of the Cactus League baseball. The ice cream maker entered the greater Phoenix market in February, saying it is one of the best markets for ice cream in the nation.
New CFO at Dreyer's
Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Holdings Inc., has named Doug Holdt executive v.p. and CFO. Holdt comes from Nestlé Canada where he held a similar position. Holdt replaces Alberto Romaneschi, who is transitioning back to Nestlé after having served as CFO of Dreyer's for the past two years.
Kemps on the Move
Kemps plans to move its office headquarters from one of the twin cities to the other. The relocation from Minneapolis to St. Paul will unite administrative employees from two different offices in Minneapolis to a new 40,000-square-foot space in St. Paul's Energy Park Corporate Center.

Princesse and Sir Laurier d'Arthabaska are two historic cheese brands from central Quebec that are being acquired by Saputo Inc. Canada's dairy leader will pay $54 million to Fromage Cote SA and Distributions Kingsey Inc. for the brands which generate about $110 million in annual sales.
